Hsbc - pricing administrator - data services - edinburgh

The role will involve -

* Provide day-to-day Market Data support business areas
* Investigate and satisfactorily resolve queries and issues within agreed procedural guidelines
* Maintain Market Data
* Carry out testing of systems as requested for existing Market Data processes
* Assist with monitoring adherence to Market Data procedures
* Assist with Market Data training as required



Essential skills -

* Educated to degree level or hold Investment related qualification (e.g. Securities Institute certificate)
* Ability to plan and organise workload, taking into account relative priorities
* Ability to work accurately under pressure to tight deadlines
* Strong relationships skills / ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally
* Good knowledge of international investment markets
* Strong Excel skills

Ideally -

* Knowledge of Thomson Reuters, Six Financial, ICE, Bloomberg and relevant data feeds
