Assessment: I was able to be trainee auditor at Mazars so financial audit in the Department key accounts. This training course of end of study lasted 3 months and led to a hiring. Internship very interesting, varied, very stimulating.
Skills obtained: The skills that are developed are:
-thoroughness: all work must be done perfect, readable way. The formalism is very important.
-timeliness: deadlines are always very short, it pushes us to do the job still more quickly. It teaches us to have the sense of responsibility of the organization.
-technical excellence: it is important to be on top of the accounting and financial expertise to advance, understand, study, make a performance work.
Advantages: The positives are globally the challenge, the opportunity to quickly take responsibility, a sense of importance, and to work with young teams very open-minded.
Disadvantage: The main negative is the lack of balance between private and professional life. The audit tends occupy your nights, your weekends, and all free time makes you feel guilty. It is very difficult to get out, to do anything. The smartphone and the laptop are not going in this direction.
The other negative point is the impression of being on the spot permanently. The pressure is ubiquitous, and is we very clearly understand that if one is not enough powerful, it will be very quickly turn (which often unfortunately happens!)
Advice to the company: Less put pressure on its employees, be more clear on the steps and developments, be less "deceitful"
